About Us
In all our practice areas as vocational experts and career counselors, the common threads are our wide ranging understanding of the labor market, our expertise in helping people make decisions about work, and our knowledge of the impact of disability and other barriers on vocational activity.
Betty Kohlenberg provides expert evaluations and testimony for attorneys and their clients who need to understand the impact of vocational issues on litigation cases; support, guidance and information for people seeking a new career path; and negotiations for people with disabilities who need help to remain productive and valuable in their jobs.
As an expert witness, Betty Kohlenberg has testified in the Superior Courts in nine California counties, for Federal courts, and as an Independent Vocational Evaluator for the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, the Social Security Office of Hearings and Appeals, and the Federal Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs.

Providing both direct services and program development, she created the unique MAP (Making A Plan) group career counseling program and authored many articles guiding clients in job seeking skills.
